McCalla Professorship Application and Selection Procedure (UAPPOL, Revised Nov 2017)

Selection Criteria
The following criteria will be used when selecting eligible applicants:

  • Evidence of a career commitment to teaching excellence, integrating research and teaching and educational leadership
  • Innovation in the project or planned activities
  • Impact of the project or planned activities on student learning and alignment with For the Public Good

  • Deadline for Small Faculties - Thursday, February 1, 2018
  • Deadline for Large Faculties*- Thursday, March 1, 2018

New !  TLEF Seed Grants (Nov 2017)
Up to $6,000 in Seed Funding is available for instructors to explore and experiment with learning innovations in various settings such as classrooms, labs, or clinics.  Suitable projects include pedagogical research on existing teaching practices, as well as exploratory (e.g., literature review) and pilot projects of new or innovative teaching and learning practices which could then be further leveraged into larger internal and external grants related to teaching and learning enhancement.
