Osmar Zaïane awarded IEEE Senior member grade

Congratulations to Professor Osmar Zaïane for his elevation to the grade of IEEE Senior Member, an honor bestowed only to those who have made significant contributions to the profession.

Osmar Zaïane is elevated to the the grade of IEEE Senior Member. IEEE Senior Membership is an honor bestowed only to those who have made significant contributions to the profession. It is the highest grade for which application may be made and shall require experience reflecting professional maturity.

From the IEEE website: "For admission or transfer to the grade of Senior Member, a candidate shall be an engineer, scientist, educator, technical executive, or originator in IEEE-designated fields for a total of 10 years and have demonstrated 5 years of significant performance."

IEEE and its members inspire a global community through its highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities.
