Application Deadlines
There are two application deadlines for M.Ed. admissions: October 1st and March 1st. The doctoral program (EdD, PhD) has one application deadline: December 1st.
The academic year runs from September to August and is divided into four academic terms. The masters program has four entry dates. The doctoral program has only one entry date.

M.Ed. Program Applications
Applications for entry to Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall 2024 terms open May 01, 2023 closing October 01, 2023.
The March 1st, 2024 deadline (opening November 1st, 2023) is for September 2024 and Winter 2025 admits.
Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, Landed Immigrant, and International* Applicants
Important Note: All items must be received by the application deadline including reference letters. Therefore, please ensure that your application for admission is submitted two weeks prior to the deadline.

Doctoral Program Applications
The Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) and Doctorate of Education (EdD) have the same application deadline. Applications are accepted for admission to the Fall term only.
Applications open on May 1st of each year.

Application Notes
For all Programs: Please be prepared to take electives the first year of your program if core courses are not available.
Admission Decisions: Decisions can take two to three months after the application deadline for the review process to be entirely completed.
*International Applicants: After an admissions decision is made international students will need time to obtain their study visa and arrive in Canada. It is HIGHLY recommended that international applicants to the M.Ed. program apply for Fall term admission.
