Placing Trials at CRU
Academic
If you are a researcher needing to place your clinical trial, contact the CRU lead coordinator (below) to explore your options. Investigators leading their own trials can access CRU facilities to conduct patient visits and utilize services based on a fee-for-service arrangement. CRU staff are also available to provide assistance for study startup including protocol development, informed consent forms and ethics submissions. Alternatively, CRU staff can provide complete study coordination from study startup through recruitment, trial execution and closeout. The CRU works closely with the University’s Clinical Trial Office to help investigators efficiently conduct trials and ensure regulatory compliance.
Industry
Industry sponsors wanting to place trials at ADI’s CRU should contact the CRU lead coordinator (below) who can help connect with potential PIs to lead their trials and coordinate budget reviews, contract preparation and study start-up. Staff are experienced providing complete turn-key management of drug and device trials and utilize their collaboration with the University and Alberta Health Services to quickly establish contracts, ethics approval and study initiation. Investigational products are safely stored in our secure pharmacy storage facility that is monitored 24-7.
