Response from the Dean of Campus Saint-Jean to the open letter of the President of ACFA.

Madam President,

The University of Alberta has already provided extensive information on the various points you raise in your letter. However, Campus Saint-Jean remains deeply open to collaborating with any organization or representative of the Francophone community that shares our values of unity and diversity, and that agrees to approach historical facts in an objective and neutral manner. It is in this spirit that we are already working with numerous partners at the provincial and national levels.

Due to the legal action the ACFA is pursuing against the University of Alberta in relation to Campus Saint-Jean, it would not be appropriate for the University to engage on matters that are the subject of litigation, which limits the possibility of collaboration and consultation directly with the ACFA, a situation we regret.
