Document Submission Deadlines
June 15 is the final deadline for transfer applicants to submit their documents.
August 1 is the final deadline for applicants coming directly from high school to submit their documents.

Complete the Application Form
The first step is to create an account on Launchpad, the platform used to submit admission applications. Please note that the process is entirely in English.
Below, you will find an explanatory video that will guide you through the application form.
The process for paying the application processing fee by credit card is the same as a regular online purchase. You will need:
- Your credit card number
- The name that appears on the card
- The expiration date
- The CVV code (the numbers on the back of the card)
Once you have submitted your admission application and uploaded your documents, it is important to understand the next steps in the process. Below, you will find an explanatory video that will help you better understand your Launchpad portal and the status of your application.
For Alberta-resident students who have used the ApplyAlberta platform, the University of Alberta will automatically obtain your transcripts and all the necessary academic documents to complete your admission application.
For students from another province, you can find more information about the process for submitting your official transcripts to the University of Alberta by visiting this page.
If your checklist indicates that a copy of the transcript may be provided, you must upload an official document issued by the school.
A document listed on your checklist as “Final Transcript,” “Official Transcript,” or “Official & Complete Transcript” must be sent directly by the issuing institution.
Uploading inaccurate or incomplete documents will delay the evaluation of your application and the admission decision.
