Olympic Lifting Intro

This camp will introduce the sport of Weightlifting to young athletes as both a standalone sport, and a multi-sport training tool to help develop transferable speed, strength, power, coordination and flexibility. Including lifts such as the snatch, clean, jerk, squats, pulls, presses, and plyometrics, our explore level camp focuses on fun, technique development, confidence, and motor learning rather than performance or weight on the bar. Each age group curriculum will have its weightlifting sessions guided by the Weightlifting Canada LTAD and NCCP certified coaching staffs for appropriate age level instruction and expectations.
