Wrestling

Introduce and build wrestling skills at our camps for ages 9-14. Golden Bears and Pandas Wrestlers will coach participants through fun drills and modified matches designed to develop skills related to stance, motion, takedowns and groundwork. They’ll also enjoy age-appropriate multi-sport activities to improve their overall movement skills to support and complement what they learn in their wrestling sessions.
- Participants may be grouped based on age and/or current skill level
- All participants will receive a single camp t-shirt for the summer, including participants who are registered in more than one camp
- No specialized equipment is required
- Indoor and Outdoor shoes are needed for non-wrestling sessions
- Wrestling sessions require participants to remove footwear for protection of the mats.
- Wrestling instruction will take place in the Van Vliet Complex’s Varsity Wrestling Facility
