Science + Sport Skills Combo

In partnership with the Faculty of Science, the Green and Gold Summer Camps is offering a full-day combination camp for grades 5-6/ 9 to 11 year olds. For half the day, learn about computer science or forensic science on campus with our science camp leaders (topic based on week). Engage in hands-on learning in science, experiments, and facility visits with our science staff. During the other half of the time, experience sport, play, activities that focus on the development of new skills with Green and Gold camp leaders.
- Participants may be grouped based on age and/or current skill level
- All participants will receive a single camp t-shirt for the summer, including participants who are registered in more than one camp
- Participants are required to wear athletic clothing for sport sessions, closed toe footwear for science sessions
- Indoor and Outdoor shoes are needed

Explore Camp Schedule
- Drop Off Period 8:30am to 8:45am
- Camp Activities 8:45am to 4:15pm
- Pick Up Period 4:15pm to 4:30pm
- Late arriving campers may be moved between groups on day of camp due to travel logistics and science sessions.
Forensic Science
In the Forensic Science half of camps we will explore the chemistry, biological sciences, and psychology used in the world of forensic science. We will do this through hands-on activities like fingerprinting, an introduction to DNA, blood spatter physics, and more. The students will also solve a case on the final day.
Computer Science
In the Computer Science half of camps we will solve technological challenges while learning computing fundamentals through problem-solving activities, computer animation, video game creation and programming basics.
Registration for Summer 2026 will take place over 4 days in February
Registration will open each day at 7:30 am in the following order
- February 17 - Hockey & Climbing Camps - All Age Groups
- February 18 - Train to Train Camps - Ages 12 to 14
- February 19 - Learn to Train Camps - Ages 9 to 11
- February 20 - Fundamentals Camps - Ages 6 to 8
