Sport Leadership 101

The goal of this camp is to give aspiring athletes the tools to become better leaders and performers in their chosen sport. This is done through a comprehensive approach that combines physical training, leadership development, mental training and multi-sport participation.

The physical training component of this camp will include an equal focus on advanced movement skills (i.e. agility, balance, coordination and speed) and athletic fitness (i.e. strength, power, flexibility, mobility and endurance). The leadership component will include hands-on assistant coaching opportunities within our Green and Gold Summer Camps. The mental training component will introduce a variety of essential leadership skills like teamwork, confidence, goal setting and communication. Together these components will help young athletes develop into well-rounded leaders and competitors.
