Generous supporters make Rocky Mountain Business Seminar possible

Iconic nationwide event for business students held 51st summit thanks to donors

Staff - 18 August 2016

The Rocky Mountain Business Seminar (RMBS) is an iconic event for business students nationwide. This February marked the annual event's 51st year, as over 100 students from the Universities of Alberta, Calgary, Lethbridge, Regina, Saskatchewan, and MacEwan and Ryerson went to the Rockies to spend their Reading Week with like-minded colleagues. Students meet with business leaders and corporate delegates, learning from industry professionals in a unique setting.

Organized and run by students, RMBS has been a key part of the undergraduate experience at the Alberta School of Business for more than a half a century. Over the five-day conference, business students come together to participate in case competitions, breakout sessions, networking forums, team building, keynote addresses, and more.

RMBS would not be possible without the continued support of the University of Alberta's partners. Longstanding supporters include National Bank Financial via the Angus Watt Advisory Group, CPA Alberta, Canadian Western Bank, Xerox, Enterprise Rent-a-Car and Incite Marketing.
