Giving Recognition in the Workplace

Without the contributions and dedication of faculty, staff, the University of Alberta would not be the institution we are today. Recognizing and rewarding colleagues for their contributions and achievements ensures people feel their contributions are valued, and is an important component of a psychologically safe and healthy workplace. There are many formal and informal ways to recognize colleagues for their contributions.
