Founded in 1965 by Prof. Dorothy Harris of the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation, Orchesis Dance Group has provided dancers of every level an opportunity to take classes in Jazz and Modern Dance Techniques and to perform in the annual Dance Motif. Orchesis celebrates with a reunion Orchesis Dance Gala held on the evening of January 31, 2015. We invite all past and present Orchesis dancers and members, and all who are interested, to join us for this sensational occasion. Dorothy Harris will be the Guest of Honour!
Orchesis Dance Group performance, Dance Motif 2015, celebrates the 50th Anniversary with guest choreographers Peggy Baker and Brian Webb, supported by a grant from the Alberta Foundation for the Arts.
