The Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation is supported by a dedicated team of Academic Advisors who guide students from the first term on campus to the day they graduate. As a KSR student, you will be connected with an advisor who provides a supportive and confidential environment where you can:

  • Clarify your academic and career goals
  • Explore programs and opportunities within the Faculty
  • Navigate your degree from first year through graduation
  • Connect with additional campus resources and supports

While advisors are here to support you, students also play an active role in their academic journey.  Students are responsible for:

  • Registering in courses and planning their schedules
  • Understanding degree and program requirements as outlined the U of A Calendar
  • Accessing additional student resources when needed
  • Taking responsibility for their academic, career, and personal goals
