MNA 90th AGA

On August 10, 2018 the RCMR team drove up to Lac La Biche to spend the day at the Métis Nation of Alberta's 90th Annual General Assembly. We set up a table at the trade show and had a chance to speak with community members about the work that we do as a research centre, as well as providing information to prospective students to the Faculty of Native Studies. It was a great day checking out the activities and events such as the Constitution Workshop and youth beading lessons. We then topped it all off with a visit to the Lac La Biche Mission- a national historic site and interpretive centre.
