High Level Bridge shone blue and gold for Pharmacy students and alumni

Sandra Pysklywyc - 20 March 2015

The City of Edmonton's High Level Bridge was awash in blue and gold light on Thursday, March 19, 2015 as part of national Pharmacist Awareness Month (PAM).

The blue and gold colours were chosen to represent the Alberta Pharmacy Students Association (APSA) and their efforts to raise awareness for the important role pharmacists play in health care delivery.

University of Alberta Pharmacy students are out in the community hosting a number of public events this month including: free blood pressure, diabetes and nutrition clinics, symposiums, panel discussions as well as volunteering for a local charity.
