Are you interested in community pharmacy, entrepreneurship, meeting pharmacy owners and new job opportunities? Or maybe you aren't sure which type of practice might be best for you, and are looking to learn about your options and make connections.

Join us at Independent Pharmacy Night to learn about the opportunities and challenges of independent pharmacy practice. We bring together students, and pharmacy owners from independent pharmacies across Alberta to share their advice, experiences, and opportunities in a business casual setting.You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions in small groups with each of the pharmacy owners, including many that are looking to hire.

All U of A pharmacy students in any year, PharmD/MBA, PharmD for Practicing Pharmacists (PPP) and Certificate to Canadian Pharmacy Practice (CCPP) students are invited to register to attend this free in-person event.

As the owner of two independent pharmacies, Medi-Drugs Millcreek and Medi-Drugs Clareview, she spends her days ensuring her team has the tools they need to succeed and provide optimal care to their patients. A community pharmacist since 1985, she loves that her pharmacies are an integral part of the community. Her store Medi-Drugs Millcreek has served its community for over 20 years, establishing itself as an ally in the LGBTQ+ space.
