Saville Community Sports Centre is strongly committed to hosting a wide range of Tennis tournaments and events
From future stars tournaments featuring young, local players, to national tournaments like the Western Canadian senior championships, to international events like the Canadian Saville Under-18 ITF tournament. Since its inception, the Saville Centre has hosted events such as the Men's ITF Futures; the Under-14 Indoor Canadian Nationals; the Western Canadian Senior Nationals; the Saville Canadian Under-18 ITF; the NAIA Men's and Women's Regional Championship; numerous Provincial championships; and annual Club tournaments.
During tournament dates, courts will be booked for the tournament on an "as need basis". Smaller tournaments, that require only 4 courts, will allow members to play while a tournament is taking place. However, with our larger tournaments, more courts are required to allow the tournament to run efficiently. During these tournaments, courts may open up once matches are completed for the day.
During outdoor tournaments, indoor courts will be booked in case there is inclement weather; for larger draws; and possibly for consolation matches. These courts will follow a drop-in procedure during the tournament. Members will be bumped if the tournament must move indoors.
