For the 30th year, SLIS students are holding the Forum for Information Professionals (FIP) conference. On Friday, February 5th, this annual student-run event, formerly known as Professional Development Day, will bring together library students and professionals for a day of student presentations and exchanging ideas.

For the 30th year, SLIS students are holding the Forum for Information Professionals (FIP) conference. On Friday, February 5th, this annual student-run event, formerly known as Professional Development Day, will bring together library students and professionals for a day of student presentations and exchanging ideas. Keynote speakers include Annie Pho, an Undergraduate Experience Librarian from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a 2014 ALA Emerging Leader, and Michael Gourlie and Braden Cannon from the Provincial Archives of Alberta.
