SLIS extends warm congratulations to Associate Professor Dr. Tami Oliphant for receiving the 2020 Faculty of Education Graduate Teaching Award, which recognizes excellence in teaching at the graduate level. This prestigious award is based on evidence from graduate students' course evaluations and anecdotal comments, together with strong supporting evidence through solicited and unsolicited materials from graduate students and colleagues.

Any individual who has completed a minimum of five years graduate teaching (not required to be consecutive years) in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta as a full-time continuing member of the academic teaching staff is eligible to apply for this award. SLIS is most grateful to Dr. Oliphant for bringing light to the significant contribution SLIS instructors make to high quality teaching and learning in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta.
