Revised U of A opening proposal with NASA

On Sunday, May 9th, the university sent a revised opening proposal to the NASA bargaining team. Revisions include changes to proposals relating to the preamble and memorandum of settlement. The effective date of the university's proposed salary reduction has been changed to come into effect following the date of ratification.

To this point, proposals have been exchanged by email only. The university and NASA bargaining teams will meet for the first time May 11, 2021, and each party will have an opportunity to speak to their proposals and commence negotiations. The parties will continue bargaining on a regular bi-weekly schedule.
