Human-Computer Interactions

Research in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) is focused on investigating scientific and medical visualization (e.g. visualization and simulation of simple organisms, space weather prediction, CT and MRI visualization fro neurosurgical planning), computational steering, computer-assisted surgical training (e.g. motion tracking, haptic guidance), computer-assisted occupational therapy, telepresence (e.g. realtime view morphing and foreground-background segmentation), interpretation of remote-sensed images, spatial navigation, and related areas.
