Non-Credit Module Series

The beginning of the Professional Learning Pathway is the non-credit module series.

Each non-credit module series is designed to enhance your skills as a mentor teacher. There are eight modules in each series, comprised of asynchronous online learning activities. You will receive access to the entire series, but you may choose to participate in one, a few, or all of the modules in a series.

When you complete an entire module series, you will receive a badge which - along with your Certificate of Appreciation for mentoring a preservice teacher - shows that you have the prerequisite for the associated EDU 595 graduate course, enabling you to continue on the professional learning pathway.

Each non-credit module series is offered to University of Alberta mentor teachers free of charge.
