University of Alberta Extension: A Partial Chronology of Its Evolution from Vision to Dissemination, Instruction, Engagement, and Dissolution, 1922-2022 is an archival manuscript and historical timeline developed by professor emeritus Wayne Lamble. Housed in the university archives, it chronicles the century-long history and community impact of the university's Extension department which began in ALES before restructuring as a university-wide function. It recounts how the Extension Division expanded the university's academic and agricultural resources to the broader Alberta public, having been initially conceptualized as a way to bring university knowledge to rural communities.
