The Arts International team is here to support your journey as an international student at the U of A. From providing guidance and support sessions to running the Arts English Conversation Club (AECC), we offer services tailored to the needs of the Arts international student.
Arts International Student Guidance and Support Sessions
Adjusting to life in Canada can be challenging, and we’re here to support that transition. Arts International Student Guidance and Support Sessions help students navigate Canadian culture, student life and finding work in Canada.
Session topics can include:

International Student Events
We host events for international students throughout the year. From topics related to intercultural communication to Canadian professionalism, we aim to equip students with the skills to succeed in their professional and personal lives in Canada.
Arts English Conversation Club (AECC)
AECC aims to foster community and provide a safe space to practice English conversation skills in small-group settings. Attend the weekly sessions and monthly social events for a chance to gain an intercultural communication certificate!
