Admission Requirements
This program can only accept students with canadian citizenship or permanent residence.
Applicants to the PSS program must meet the following requirements:
Proficiency in the French language:
- Successful completion of one of Français 20-1, Français 20-2, French Language Arts 20-1 or French Language Arts 20-2, French 30 (9 years); OR
- The equivalent of these courses in another Canadian province or in another country; OR
- Hold a diploma or degree from an accredited post-secondary institution where French is the language of instruction.
English language proficiency:
- Minimum of 60 % in English Language Arts 20-1, 20-2 or equivalent, OR
Minimum 55% in English 30-1 ou 30-2 or equivalent.
- Hold a Canadian High School Equivalency Diploma, OR
- Have attended an English-language high school in an authorized Canadian institution for at least three consecutive years during the last four years of high school (9th to 12th grade), OR
- Have passed one of these English language proficiency tests, with the following results:
- Pass with a minimum score of 72% on the Campus Saint-Jean English Placement Test
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of 71 (for tests written before January 21, 2026) or 4.0 (for tests written on or after January 21, 2026).
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System): overall score of 6, with no score below 5.5.
- CELPIP (Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program): overall score of 7, no score below 6.
- Canadian Language Benchmarks Tests/Milestones Test: score of 7 in each category.
- Duolingo English Test: score of 95.
- CELBAN (Canadian English Language Benchmark Assessment for Nurses): score of 7 in each category.
