Lab2Market Alberta is the regional hub for the national Lab2Market network. The hub is led by the University of Alberta with Innovate Calgary and The University of Lethbridge as delivery partners, and is supported by Edmonton Unlimited.

L2M Validate
L2M Validate gives researchers the opportunity to critically test and evaluate their idea in the entrepreneurial landscape. This carefully curated 16-week experience is complemented by $10,000 in funding, exercises, workshops and mentorship from industry experts, all with exploration at its core.
- Applications to L2M Validate Women in Research Prairies/Alberta - Winter 2027 are open. Eligibility: Women graduate researchers (Master's, PhD, and Postdoctoral Fellows) and women undergraduate students from universities and colleges in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta, from all disciplines, who are interested in exploring research commercialization and entrepreneurship. This program will be co-delivered by the Prairies and Alberta Hubs.

L2M Launch
L2M Launch prepares innovators with the entrepreneurial skills and mindset needed to lead a successful venture. This program connects participants with the expertise, resources and networks to build a business case, prepare for funding rounds and become a startup.
