Partnership Engage Grant (PEG)
PEG provides short-term and timely support for partnered research activities that will inform decision-making at a single partner organization from the public, private or not-for-profit sector. The small-scale, stakeholder-driven partnerships supported through Partnership Engage Grants are meant to respond to immediate needs and time constraints facing organizations in non-academic sectors.

Additional Information
Individuals may apply for one Partnership Engage Grant per calendar year. An applicant may not apply for or hold more than one Partnership Engage Grant for the same activity. Please refer to SSHRC’s regulations regarding multiple applications for more information.
Support for collaborative projects with more than one partner organisation is offered through the Partnership Development Grants and Partnership Grants.
Upcoming 2025 Competition Deadlines
SSHRC Partnership Engage Grants funding has four funding cycles per year. The University of Alberta's RAS Internal Review Deadline is 5 business days prior to the SSHRC Deadline. SSHRC results are usually announced at the end of each funding cycle.

Pre-Application Review
U of A researchers applying as Principal Investigators to the Partnership Engage Grant competition are eligible to have their applications reviewed by the Research Partner prior to submission. If you are interested in this support, contact Dr. Sylvia Madueke well in advance of the deadlines.
