To apply for the Edmonton Consular Corps Award, students must:
- be conducting a study or research program at least three weeks in length starting between May 1, 2024, and April 30, 2025
- be registered full-time in a University of Alberta degree program
- have completed a minimum of *12 credits of UAlberta coursework by the application deadline for undergraduate students; or have completed at least one term of graduate study by the application deadline for graduate students
- have a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Complete applications must be submitted with all supporting documents to eapaward@ualberta.ca. References can send their letters to that email address as well.
Selection is based on demonstrated expected benefit of the study and/or research opportunity, merit of the proposed activity, and demonstrated interest and/or involvement in international studies. Preference is given to students pursuing international relations and development. Please refer to the Application Form and Terms of Reference linked above for more details.
