Natural Movement: Foot-Hand Crawl - with CCR Fitness Instructor Chelsea Coghill!

Key practice principles:

  1. Warm-up to mobilize wrists and activate the core 
  2. Use wrist stretches before, during and/or after practice
  3. Take breaks as needed and do not push any parts of the body into positions that cause pain
  4. Maintain a flat back, neck aligned with the spine, core engaged and press the ground away from your body
  5. Hover the knees just off of the ground and keep the hips slow 
  6. Move slowly, focusing on contralateral patterning technique and body position over speed 
  7. Build up your time and distance as your conditioning increases 
  8. Add this movement to a workout as a timed interval (30 seconds to 2 minutes) or for distance (25-50 feet)
