Public lecture on global energy and climate policy

Guest speaker R. Andreas Kraemer from the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies in Potsdam, Germany will share insights from Europe and Germany.

The EU Centre of Excellence, together with the office of the Vice President Research, University of Alberta International and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany are hosting a lecture by Dr. R. Andreas Kraemer, senior fellow at the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies in Potsdam, Germany. Dr. Kraemer is the founder and emeritus director of the Ecologic Institute in Berlin and the founding chairman of the Ecologic Institute US in Washington, DC. In this public lecture, he will speak on energy and climate policy on the example of the EU and Germany.

The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion featuring participants from the Government of Alberta, and the Universities of Alberta and Calgary.
