Field of Study: Physical therapy
Academic Requirements: Satisfactory academic standing
Program Requirements: Registered full-time in a graduate degree in Physical Therapy in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine
Preference: Given to a student carrying out research in manual orthopaedic physical therapy
Selection: Based on academic standing and demonstrated impact in at least one of the three areas: research in manual orthopaedic physical therapy, excellence in an orthopaedic clinical placement, and/or excellence in an orthopaedic research elective or a written orthopaedic research submission.
Application: Eligible students should submit an application form to the Department of Physical Therapy outlining their impact since entering the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. The application must demonstrate direct impact in at least one of the three areas outlined in the Selection Criteria. In lieu of a research elective, students may include a 300-word maximum submission identifying an area of orthopedic practice that requires further research and the rationale for this research.
