Training Information

The PRAIRIE Hub collectively houses facilities and the infrastructure required to strengthen existing and develop new training programs aimed at increasing Canada’s diversified talent pool required for the biomanufacturing and commercialization of diagnostics, small molecule therapeutics, and vaccines.

The Hub’s Training Portfolio will meet the following objectives:

  1. Ensure community engagement and diversity in the recruitment of trainees, including those focused on being re-skilled and up-skilled in the life sciences, manufacturing, and commercialization sectors.
  2. Involve underrepresented groups in the design and delivery of training initiatives.
  3. Include multidisciplinary training opportunities supported by the Hub.
  4. Provide training through a globally informed, domestic focus.
  5. Strengthen existing and relevant programs across Hub lead and partner institutions.
  6. Develop new training opportunities in critical and gapped stages of manufacturing and commercialization.
