Exciting Opportunity for UofA Graduates with Alberta Abroad!

23 January 2014

The PTJC is happy to share the following message from University of Alberta International:

University of Alberta International is supporting the Government of Alberta's Alberta Abroad program. This work abroad initiative helps recent Albertan post-secondary graduates develop specialized skills and advance their careers while working at an international organization. Alberta Abroad is partnering with high calibre host organizations, such as the United Nations, to offer exceptional short-term work opportunities abroad called "externships". Through these externships, recent graduates will work with international organizations for up to a year in a variety of fields.

We currently have a posting of interest for University of Alberta Japanese students and alumni, the position of Associate for International Relations with the Hokkaido Government. Details on the listing can be found here: The deadline to apply is Sunday, February 9th.

This is an exciting opportunity for many young Albertans, and University of Alberta International requests your assistance promoting the Alberta Abroad program to University of Alberta Japanese students and alumni. Please forward this to any individuals in your department that may be interested in the program.
