Worshipping Community

We are delighted that the Archdiocese of Edmonton has announced "stage one" of the reintroduction of the Public Celebration of the Eucharist. We know that many are eager to resume these celebrations at St. Joseph's College. Unfortunately, at the present time, there are multiple issues and concerns with the physical layout of our chapels that prevent us from resuming such celebrations. We are currently examining ways that our chapels can meet the public health and Archdiocesan guidelines, in order to move ahead with the Public Celebration of the Eucharist.

In the meantime, it is possible to connect virtually with the SJC Chapel community, through the regular Sunday mass via Zoom, celebrated by Fr. Jim at 10:00 am each Sunday. We are always looking for lectors who can proclaim the readings from the comfort and safety of their homes. If you are planning to participate in the Sunday mass via Zoom, please visit this link to register: https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/2915906788442/WN_qv_KRivFSgq_ZZz3YIlQ5Q. Please contact Fr. Jim if you wish to participate as a lector: jstenber@ualberta.ca

Finally, we are happy to hear further ideas and suggestions. We look forward to reconnecting with you all in some way soon. May the peace of the Lord be with you and yours.
