University Brand and Communications is composed of four teams that together manage the U of A's reputation.

News and Media Relations

The News and Media Relations team assists the U of A community with telling its story to the world. It accomplishes this task by posting stories every day on, the university's brand journalism website.

Strategic Communications

University Strategic Communications is focused on enhancing and protecting the institutional reputation of the University of Alberta through communications planning, internal communications, issues management, and social media.

University Brand and Marketing

University Brand and Marketing delivers brand stewardship and marketing activities to strengthen the university brand by heightening awareness and visibility of the university.


The University Relations Digital team designs, builds, measures and continuously improves so it rocks for future and current students, staff and faculty.
