Courses Open to Non-Music Students

Completing an Undergraduate degree is an opportunity to explore your interests and strengths. The Department of Music provides students from every stream with the opportunity to study various music courses as an elective credit or as part of a larger program, such as through a Minor in Music, or the World Sound Arts Certificate program.

Below is a list of course offerings at the Undergraduate level that any student may take. Note that not all courses are offered every year. Visit the Music Course Listings page for a detailed compilation of academic courses being offered in the current academic year. Information on all courses may be found in the University Course Listings section of the Academic Calendar. Please check Beartracks to confirm a course's availability.
