Based on nomination submitted by the China Institute, the University of Alberta was awarded the gold award for Educational Excellence by the Canada China Business Council in Toronto on December 3, 2016.
The Educational Excellence Awards were presented to these institutions that demonstrated outstanding achievement in delivering China-related growth including, but not limited to, research partnerships, recruitment, student/faculty exchanges, alumni relations, institution linkages, executive training, and provision of Canadian curriculum.
