HUM goes on air! Radios needed!

Humanities 101 provides free, accessible, supportive, rigorous, university-level courses for communities who would not otherwise have access to university.
Due to COVID-19 risks, we are unable to meet in person this term, and many HUM participants do not have access to technology or the internet.
So, we have teamed up with CJSR, a community radio station, and are going to broadcast HUM on air!
Please consider donating a portable radio to Humanities 101. We are hoping for 20 radios by October 6th, in time for distribution to learners for the first show on CJSR on Friday, October 16th from 6-7 pm.
If you have a portable battery operated radio to donate or would like to purchase one (examples here or here) please contact hum101@ualberta.ca or 587-709-5472.
