Susannah Schmidt

Susannah Schmidt worked as general reporter for Turtle Island News and edited for the Centre for Global Social Policy. Earlier, she documented play development for Playwrights’ Workshop Montréal, worked in adult literacy and with a queer-affirming network engaged in questions of Christian faith and social justice. She has a bachelor of applied arts in journalism from TMU, a BA in drama & religious studies from McGill and a master of Catholic thought from St. Jerome's University.

Sarah G. Moore

Dr. Sarah G. Moore is a Professor of Marketing and Thornton A. Graham Chair at the Alberta School of Business, and currently serves as the School's Associate Dean of the PhD Program and Associate Dean (Research). Professor Moore investigates communication and language, both among consumers and between consumers and firms. In studying communication among consumers, she examines word-of-mouth communications, where consumers share stories with other consumers about products, brands and services.

Temitope Oriola

Dr. Temitope Oriola is an internationally recognized scholar in the field of criminology and terrorism studies and serves as the College of Social Sciences' Associate Dean (Research). Professor Oriola’s research focuses on policing and use of force by police, terrorism studies, and resource-related conflict (involving tactics like political kidnappings). A public intellectual engaged in impactful work, Oriola's research has garnered national and international recognition as well as awards from community-based organizations. He has established a strong reputation as an expert on police reform, and regularly contributes to public scholarship through keynotes, op-eds, media interviews and expert opinions.
