The Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation (KSR) invites applications for teaching assistance positions for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Teaching ASSISTANCE Opportunities

 *NOTE: The course links provide information on the duties and expectations of the Teaching Assistant, Lab Assistant, or Seminar Leader. The information provided is NOT an entire list of duties and expectations for the courses. This is intended to provide a brief summary of the expectations of the assistantship in order to choose courses that fit your background, experience and skills.

FALL 2026

Teaching Assistant positions have been filled for Fall 2026 term.


 

WINTER 2027

  • KIN 200 - Physiology of Exercise, Lab Instructor, LAB H08, Wednesday, 16:00-17:50, 4 hrs/wk
  • KIN 294 - A Conceptual Approach to Physical Activity, Lab Instructor, LAB H01, Tuesday, 14:00-15:50, 3 hrs/wk
  • KIN 365 - Gymnastics for Children and Youth, Lab Instructor, LABS H01 and H02, Monday and Friday, 09:00-10:50, 3 hrs/wk each lab (ideally same person for both labs)
  • KIN 401 - Applied Ethics in Sport, Physical Activity and Exercise, Seminar Leader, Friday, 10:00-10:50, 12 hrs/wk
  • KRLS 204 - Canadian History of Leisure, Sport, and Health, Teaching Assistant/Seminar Leader, Monday, 11:00-11:50, 6 hrs/wk
  • KRLS 204 - Canadian History of Leisure, Sport, and Health, Teaching Assistant/Seminar Leader, Friday, 11:00-11:50, 6 hrs/wk
  • RLS 130 - Collaborative Skills and Processes for Community Recreation and Leisure, Lab Instructor, Wednesday, 12:30-13:50, 4 hrs/wk

  • Letter of Support from graduate supervisor (if a graduate student)
  • References (provide 2 references that can speak to your skills and ability for the courses chosen.
