Mathematical Sciences Society

The Mathematical Sciences Society (MSS) is the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences undergraduate student group. The MSS aims to to foster collaboration and mentorship among peers interested in mathematics or statistics.

The MSS maintains a student lounge (also known as the Department of Serious Research) in CAB 453. The lounge is open between 9 AM and 5 PM, and all students interested in mathematics or statistics are welcome to drop in. The lounge is equipped with couches, a microwave, a fridge, a coffee machine, a kettle, a small library, and a variety of board games. It is a great place to relax, work on assignments, and meet other students.

Interdepartmental Science Students' Society

The Interdepartmental Science Students' Society (ISSS) is a Faculty of Science undergraduate student group that provides a range of services and events. For example, ISSS coordinates locker rentals in CAB, facilitates the formation of mini study groups, and provides an outlet for students to sell used textbooks. Canadian Mathematical Society Student Committee

The Canadian Mathematical Society Student Committee (STUDC) is the student branch of the Canadian Mathematical Society. STUDC exists to help serve the needs of university students and advise the Society on student matters. It also oversees the operation of the Canadian Undergraduate Mathematics Conference, which brings together over 100 mathematics undergraduate students annually at a different Canadian university.
