The Department has a new policy to help facilitate student chamber group rehearsals. In exchange for a valid One-Card, Music students may borrow the key to an unused Music space in FAB, without having to go through the booking process or any paperwork.
Students can see which spaces are available on the daily room booking sheet in the office, and borrow the key for an empty room between regular class bookings. Keys must be returned at the end of the available time, or the late-return fee may be levied.
We have also brought practice room 3-60 into use as a chamber music room - your regular practice room key will allow access. Groups of 3 or more always have priority - solo/duos may use the room when it is not occupied. This room can not be reserved.
A grand piano is being restored for use in this room - will be installed shortly.
