David Cook

The Department of Music is saddened by the death of David Cook, Professor of Pharmacology. David was a lover of music in the very best sense of that term: deeply knowledgeable and passionate about an art that he understood intimately. He was a friend to the department, generously sharing his gifts as a communicator through a host of vivid and engaging pre-concert talks and other events, and a valued friend of and collaborator with many of its members. We will miss him deeply, and we extend our condolences to his family, friends, and colleagues.
