Circus Maximus: Symphony No. 3 is a modern day commentary on society?s never?ending bombardment and inundation of entertainment, as compared with the ?circus maximus? of the infamous imperial coliseum of Ancient Rome, where violence and barbarity was considered great entertainment for the masses. Symphony No. 3 was originally commissioned by the University of Texas at Austin Wind Ensemble, who presented it on their 2008 European tour and gave the piece its first New York premiere at Carnegie Hall.

October 21 will mark the first time Symphony No. 3 will be played in Canada.

Enjoy the experience!
