Former Graduate student finalist in National choral conducting competition

Melanie Marlin (MMus Choral Conducting, 2009) was selected as one of three finalists in the 2012 national choral conducting competition sponsored by the Sir Ernest MacMillan Memorial Foundation. Each candidate conducted the Elmer Iseler Singers for the live final round of the competition, which took place as part of Podium 2012--Choral Celebration Chorale in Ottawa, May 17-20. Melanie is a conductor for three outstanding choral organizations: High Park Children's Choirs of Toronto, Hamilton Children's Choir, and Chorus Niagara Children's Choir.
