Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

The doctor of pharmacy (PharmD) is a clinical doctorate leading to the PharmD degree.

The PharmD program is a four-year professional program consisting of coursework and practice experience. Students in the program have completed the required prerequisite courses and have a competitive grade point average.

The scope of practice for pharmacists in Alberta is the broadest in the world.
