About IGR

Members

Members of the IGR represent a cross-section of researchers in core-mantle and near-surface geophysics, atmosphere-ocean-cryosphere dynamics and space physics. The background and recent publications of each Faculty Member can be found in the annual report.

New members are nominated and their admission voted upon during the Annual General Meeting.

IGR Library

The IGR maintains a well-stocked library of textbooks and journals in the area of geophysics, geophysical fluid dynamics and astrophysical dynamics. This is located in CCIS 4-281.

Contact

The IGR office is located in the south-west side of the Centennial Centre for Interdisciplinary Science on the fourth floor: CCIS 4-281

The office area, which is shared with the Theoretical Physics Institute, contains a library, reading room and casual meeting space. There is also an office (CCIS 4-281b) that can be used for visitors for members of the IGR.

Enquiries should be addressed to the Director, Claire Currie.
