Biography

Lorenz Herfurth is an Assistant Professor in Design Studies with the Department of Art & Design at the University of Alberta and has taught and done research at the University of Montreal, Concordia University, Carleton University, the Élisabeth-Bruyère School of Social Innovation (Saint Paul University), Wilfried Laurier University and Audencia Business School (France). He was a lecturer in design with the Innovation School at the Glasgow School of Art (United Kingdom) before moving to Canada. He holds a Ph.D. in Design from Lancaster University (United Kingdom) with a specialization in exploring the interdisciplinary space between collaborative design and organization studies.
