The Russian-Ukrainian War: Historical Background

The ongoing Russian war against Ukraine remains a focus of world politics. The war is accompanied by heated discussions about its origin, nature, and possible outcomes. These discussions tell us important things not only about the belligerents, but also about the expert community itself.

In this in-person lecture, Dr. Volodymyr Kravchenko will address the historical aspects of the war and its impact on Ukrainian, Russian, and Soviet studies.
